Hey

Was just wondering how the guys who have done scratchbuilds did them. What sort of things are used for the frame beneath model cars, are bionicle type things used? How are transformations achieved? just borrowed from existing figures? what about odd parts like hands and feet and so on? pinched from sacraficed bots or from lego or what?
Just interested to know if I ever head down that path

for me, it's all about being creative and just using my imagination. I usually have a Transformation idea in my head, find a character that resembles it, then go from there. I use what ever joints needed, and create a shell around them from other parts that have the external look I desire.
