Not a mod, but if you color in the headlights with a sharpie on bumblebee it looks much cooler.

Anyone here have a problem with Lugnut's mace? The gimmick doesn't work hardly at all for mine and even after tampering with it and taking it apart, I haven't figured out a good way to keep it working. Anyone done a mod for this yet?

Tried this out...Given how well the tools fit, I can't help but think this was intentional on the part of the designers. Thanks for the tip!

For the Lockdown mod, how do you go about cutting away the excess material on his wrists? Do you pop out the pin and take his hand off, or just dig at it from outside?

EDIT: Sorry...I went back and read some earlier posts, and I think I found what I need.

I didn't even realize the upper arms of my Grimlock were bulging. Now they don't. Thanks Jin

First, apologies if what I ask below is something you're already tried - just covering the bases

Did you make sure the mace was pushed back in Lugnut's hand as far as it will go? If you do, the little "wings" on the side of his forearm go back and his claws will lightly clamp around the mace handle. My Lugnut figure's mace requires a really firm push on the mace handle to make all this happen, but I don't necessarily mind since it means that he can't drop it

If it's back all the way as described above, then you barely have to tap the bottom of the mace on a hard surface to make it expand. Good luck!

Yep. I did try that. I saw a video review (I think it was Peaugh's) that mentioned that very thing. I pushed that sucker as far into his hand as possible and tapped the bottom peg. It went in, but the mechanism didn't fire. After poking the top of the mace, it limply went off. I've taken it apart but apparently I didn't fix the problem. Just curious if anyone else had the same issue and how it was fixed. Also, no apologies necessary, haha.

Why did I not think to take the spring out..so long as there is an easy enough way to keep the waist from swinging around, I may just give it a shot. May not save Megs, but it'll make Prime pretty much perfect.
