Nice end result, but ya, not speed painting. No way a human could go through those menus and pick all those colors that fast.
true...but would you really want to sit through hours or days of watching a person paint? this guy probably did that painting within a day or a few days at the most which is pretty impressive considering the detail he put it. i've been working on my Transformers drawing for 2 months and i'm only 3/4 done.
isnt it obvious? optimus did a self portrait. only a transformer can paint/use photoshop that quickly. lol. but who cares? that was freaking awesome.
its not a crack at the quality of the product itself. i myself noticed how this guy, instead of starting with flats went with spot by spot approach, which actually harks traditional methods. which is cool. however, the title itself is horrendously misleading since speed painting in itself has a specific connotation in terms of art skills and technique. it would be like, if someone were to kitbash a figure but then claim it was entirely scratch made. not the most accurate of analogy, but for me, i clicked expecting something and got something else entirely. its not actually clicking goatse or nuthin, but still.
he uses a digital sketch pad to do his drawings and some of the painting that is why he is getting everything accurate he is not using a mouse he is using a pen on a digital sketch pad
