I just got a shapeways helmet for my TR Galvatron, which looks great but is not quite the same colour.

I tried mixing some humbrol enamel paints that i have but I cant get the right colour, can anyone tell me a good make/colour of paint or paints (to mix) to colour match TR Galvatron (or CW Cyclonus)?

EDIT: I just noticed that the Tamiya X-16 purple looks close, does anyone have this paint and can show the colour?

 

Also, i know i cant mix enamel and acrylic but can i mix acrylics from different makes?

 

ive been looking at some other thread and someone mentioned a painter pen to paint his Galvatron helmet, trouble is, looking on ebay/amazon there are loads of different types and ive no idea what sort i should use/can use

 

Tamiya tends to match hasbro pretty well.
