I have a styrene tube I want to fix within another styrene tube with model cement. I want to coat the inner tube with something so that it can be secured more tightly and directly in the center of the outer tube. I know superglue and Future are often used to coat items to increase friction in joints would either of those equally well for my needs? Would either coating interfere with the ability of the cement to bond the two tubes?

I'd put the inner tube where you want it in the outer tube then use a small applicator to drop a tiny bit of cement so that it soaks between the tubes. You have about 2-seconds to finely adjust the position, so make sure it's where you want it to be.
