as the title says. i have a problem....for some reason, i just can't stop thinking of making impactor from several molds that sort of fit, and some more that are out of this world, and when i do find a good mold, i want more....i just can't get my idea fix for him. i'll list off some ideas i had, and you'll understand.... oversized ko voyager rook cw onslaught, scattershot, t30 springer, brainstorm tr hardhead/quake, sentinel prime, sixshot, sky shadow, blitzwing NuRID soundwave, blastwave ...and i'm sure there are a LOT more, but i'm sure you get the point....anyone know how i can get my fix?
Maybe you should narrow he list like AOE hound isn't the best figure to choose same with brainstorm, sentinel prime, FOC grimlock, magnus, fireflight, scattorshot, and Armada demolisher hope that helps you think of an mold to choose to use
maybe. i know seigfried07 did the combiner ones, and that kinda helped... i know a lot of them are outright weird, i don't even know WHY i thought of it. it just happens....and i already know the one i'd be extremely content with having*. i just can't stop....... *btw its this guy and mmc spartan..... ULTRA IMPACTOR ...and as i was typing this, i found IRON FACTORY's blizzard...which will be perfect for when my supreme broadside is done....which i wouldn't of found if i wasn't looking for 3p blitzwings because of you guys.....thank you!!!! edit: gonna try the blitzwing mold, since i have it, and i don't want to spend $100 on the 3p figures
I know thread is older...not quite a year yet...so since I'm just noticing...I'm chiming in...hope its helpful...I think besides the FOC Impactor being upsized to Voyager...I think Universe Onslaught is a great mold to have an Impactor from...
oh my...i forgot all about this thread. since then, i did the t30 blitzwing, but it fell and broke, so i still have the head. at this point, i'm going to edit the original post.... @BScorpinok75 i think that is what "chug onslaught" was, since the U is Universe...
i'm definitely going Tr blitzwing now, since i just learned that megatron as 5mm slots behind his head (despite obvious showings for a long time)...now for the big question.... how hard is it to cut shapeways Frosted Ultra Detail? that is what my impactor head is, and i'd like him to be a titanmaster with the partner being either verity carlo, xaaron or "spartanus"....
Sounds a cool idea...I wonder if the guy that does Titan Master heads...has done one...I don't even recall his name currently...its seems it may be something he'd consider if he hasn't...

It's not the easiest material to cut, if you put pressure on it in the wrong place it just snaps. Not evenly either. You could try sanding though.
