Alright, so I modded my Walmart Skywarp a while back to look like this. Well, since then, I found a spare head from MP Sunstorm, painted it black, and slapped it on. It looks much better with my MP-11 Starscream and TRU Thundercracker, but it isn't quite there yet. So I bought a junker TC with the plan to do some parts-swapping/repainting to make it a true MP-11 mold Skywarp (because the official MP-11SW is so far out of my budget it's not even funny anymore).

Here's my question:

Since Walmart Skywarp's black is unpainted black plastic, should I A) paint the Thundercracker parts flat black and hope they match good enough or should I B) paint the whole thing gloss black? My only concern is the striping on the wings as I really like the way they look and I'm not sure if I can mask them well enough to spray black around them. I would also probably have to get Decepticon stickers for the wings since I don't think there's any way to mask those and have them look good when it's all said and done. What are your thoughts?

 

Dunno' if you're still looking for suggestions on this since it's been two weeks but why not try the flat black and then, if it doesn't match well enough, go with the other option?
