I want to design some stickers but I'm afraid I won't be able to get that professional look when printed.

Does anyone have suggestions for high-quality printing or good sticker material to use?

I've heard that I can use Future to seal and protect stickers. Is that true? (I use it for sealing custom paint jobs. I've never used it with stickers).

    Thanks for any help!

I use the Testors decal system/paper and it works great. Just google that and you'll find what you need. It makes decals, not stickers so you'll need to follow instructions carefully and get some practice in, but for the price you can't beat it.

Most desktop printers are good enough. I use a 5 year old, $120 inkjet to make all the decals for this:

Little late but adding my 2 cents.

I use a sticker sheet bought from Hobby Lobby, print them out at 300 to 1200 dpi, cut them out as close as possible and apply. Also printing out each stick more then once. Just look at my customs corner on my sig. The Joker being the one with the most.

However, a LOT of preplanning went into these and they do not always go on uneven surfaces and I would like sometimes so the printable decal could still be an option in that regard.

I use varnish on my stuff. Gloss and matte for whatever look I'm going for.
