So I just started on my first TF custom in what seems like ages. I have begun disassembling my Gen (Thrill 30th) Bumblebee figure that I'll be using as the base of this project. So far, I've been able to remove most of all the irritating pins and such by using my nearby pin pusher and soldering iron; but I'm stuck at the last place which happens to be this figure's feet and... well, see for yourself.

As you can clearly see from the photos, there's no way to remove the pin on his ankle that keeps the foot in place. I've got to remove that pin somehow or else I can't proceed with this project as EVERYTHING must be disassembled, got any ideas?

You could use a soldering iron to heat the pin and then turn it upside down, so the pin falls out...

I'm going to assume you don't want to drill another hole on the other side that would allow you to push it through... but that might be your best bet. Otherwise (and there is absolutely no guarantee this would work), what you could try doing is clamp down the foot like in a vice or something, then while holding your soldering iron on the exposed end of the pin to heat it up, use a sharp knife or razor blade to push it out using that small gap in the bottom. The sharper and thinner the better as you will actually need to cut into the metal a bit to get a grip on it. An Exacto blade would probably work best. You might be able to push it out enough to get a needle nosed pliers on it. Again, no guarantee, but it's what I would try.

I've been wondering if this would work. Have you done it before?

Yep, I used this to dismantle the gun from TFP BH starscream

dont heat the magnet though, heating them makes them lose their charge
