Do you guys think if one were to remove the eyes from the Takara or KO MP-10 and spray some glow in the dark paint on the back side of them and reinstall, that the paint would glow from behind the jeweled eyes? I know it won't be as bright as if it was painted on the exterior surface, but if placed under and bright light for a few seconds it should shine through right?

I'd say barely. That's why I try and led the head usually, but hard when tiny.

Thanks for the early reply. I have no knowledge of how to install LEDs and such so I figured the glow paint would be my best option, but probably isn't worth messing with.

Takara MP 10 has such dark colored plastic that the light piping probably won't work. It's best to just paint them completely.

I've got a Ko MP10. I actually like it more than the Hasbro I had. This one does have enough light piping and it's OK, but wondered if my idea would give it a boost.

just paint over the eyes, its really easy to do when you unscrew the head. its even one nice piece.
