Customs: Removing Apollyon's silencer plug?

    Wasn't sure where to post this, mods please move if in the wrong place.

    Getting the main barrel orange plug out from Apollyon is easy enough with a pair of pliers. However, the adhesive used for the silencer is much stronger. What's the best way to dissolve or weaken the super glue without damaging the toy?

    What I did was take a razor blade and cut the top of the cap off. After the top was removed, I then cut up the inner cap into smaller pieces. By doing this, I was and be to chip off the rest in pieces.

    i just used a pair of pliers and gave it a quick snap, the plug came right out with no damage to the barrel
