So I just finished my Starscream that looks like Acidstorm now. Adding the switch for his eyes, and moving around his electrical wiring and adding other lights, I found myself enjoying the electrical part of putting together a heavy scratch. So now, instead of a switch and cutting a hole for it and or building a housing unit for esthetics, I decided, lets add a clap on feature! I saw a tiny board that has tiny audio sensors for a clap on whatever on ebay, instantly ideas went buzzing. Why not have LED eyes and whatever, but clap to turn it on! I love this idea, I ordered the board (super cheap) and will figure out how to work it. Might even add lasers, Im not sure. Anyway, what do you guys think? Clap on LEDs and stuff on a Transformer cool? Or too much?
imagine a metroplex display case, then say "heed my call", clap, clap, lights in metroplex turn on, then audio goes "metroplex heads the call of the last prime" my nerdsssss
Ya I was thinking about figures like cybertron starscream, metroplex, etc. hell I got a fortress Maximus, put a damn doorbell on him.
Interesting idea. Just a FYI:We had a Clapper ages ago. Hit or miss with it. And any loud enough noise would set it off. Hopefully the tech has been improved since then. On a related note, what about voice activation? Anything like that small & cheap?
hmm not sure on voice activation lol. getting into software at that point. Ya I was worried about any noise setting it off that Id have to have the battery easily accessible.
I can't wait till it arrives. I hope I can figure it all out. As of now I've decided to maybe cram all these electronics in this head I'm building for my fortress Maximus that's completely hollow. Not sure.
Although I would normally question you on how a Fort Max can be completely hollow, I'll just say... good luck.
