Nice day. I'm thinking of an MCU Avengers lineup using Generations figures as bases. Confirmed so far is... Iron Man (CW Dead End) War Machine Mk1 (Generations Kup+ROTF Jetfire's Gatling) War Machine Mk2 (CW Swindle) Thor (BH Optimus Prime) Black Widow (BH Arcee, weapons swapped with Hawkeye) Hawkeye (Generations Blurr, weapons swapped with Black Widow) The Vision (Generations Scourge) Scarlet Witch (Generations Windblade) Quicksilver (Animated Blurr) Ultron Prime (TFP Voyager Megatron) Ultron Sentry (TFP Deluxe Megatron) However, molds for Hulk, Hulkbuster Iron Man, Captain America, and Falcon haven't been decided. it would be great to hear some fan input on this, only with a few guidelines. *Either Hulk or Hulkbuster must be a CW torso mold (probably Motormaster) *Captain America and Falcon must be a CW limb mold I hope to hear some great opinions.
airraid/falcon= air raid's wings look like its made for swoop attacks captain america/first aid= a reference to the crossovers version, but with police lights hotspot/hulkbuster= i have a few older hulkbuster toys, and hotspot seems to fit with them. especially the IM2 retail hulkbuster. long legs, huge arms, plus the combined mode could reference the mk2 hulkbuster (world war hulk)
Why are Iron Man and War Machine cars? They're two of the only flying Avengers. Cap: Japanese Groove. Barring that, Ironhide. After all, it has an arm mounted 5mm hole so it'd be easy to mount the shield. Falcon: Seconding Air Raid. His movable wings seem like a good fit. Hulkbuster: Rook. Being able to swap out fists would replicate Veronica pretty well. Hulk: CW Optimus, I suppose. Not many choices out there, but his long arms and stumpy legs are a pretty good fit for Hulk, at the end of the day.
For the Hulkbuster, who not go with RTS Lugnut. It just has that huge, crazy wide big-armed look to it.
Well, I chose land vehicles for those two because I figures their robot modes would be flight-capable. More versatility, right? (Plus, the Dead End mold fits Tony's car collection perfectly.) I've got no interest in using Groove as a custom unless a Hasbro release is confirmed.
