Hi, I'm not sure where I'm supposed to post this.

I pulled Blackjack out of the bin today and found his arm was in an awkward position. I tried forcing it back but that was putting stress on the ball joint. I'm afraid I might break it. I thought I might remove the pin and reset the arm but the pin is in an awkard place and I can't find a secure way to clamp it down force the pin out. I also thought about filing down the small bit of plastic preventing it from popping back but I don't know if that's a good idea either.

I know he's not that expensive but I've only ever seen him once here and after market prices are crazy. I really don't want to replace him if I accidentally break the ball joint.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Hard to make out exactly what's going on in the pics, but either it was dislocated somehow & forced beyond the notch, or it was misassembled at the factory and either set in the wrong position or used the wrong part. You could cut the notch that's keeping it from bending properly. You could find a way to get the pin out. Or you could get another. Pretty much what you've said already.

You could also try warming the plastic a bit with a hair dryer & push it back. Then reuse the hair dryer to reshape it afterward.

As for popping the pin out, you could use a soldering iron to heat the pin & push it out.

I'll try using the soldering iron.
