I always thought of turning my Generations Thunderwing lil drone piece into a little robot to homage the G1 inner bot. Did any 3rd party ever make one?

 

i know there was alittle fan outcry for one, but i don't think anyone ever did

 

I thought I remember a 3rd party or maybe a shapeways designer gonna attempt something but never heard or saw anything more that early concept...
