Hi! Painting So, I recently got some articulated hands from Shapeways (http://www.shapeways.com/product/5B7B33Q2W/foc-soundwave-hands?li=shop-results&optionId=41059308) for my FOC Takara Soundwave (http://cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server1.../TAK11588__41363.1410572688.1280.1280.jpg?c=2), but I'm having difficulties figuring out a good color combination to use for them that would match with the bluish-purple color that makes up the majority of Soundwave's body.

Any paint/mixing suggestions? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah. I was recommended by the seller to do that and then paint it the appropriate color since the purple sold didn't match the Takara colors.

Ok,I would recommend you basecoat the hands in black or gray then your color. The white in that material likes to absorb the paint and lighten your color

Alright. Any ideas for a purple that would match Takara Soundwave (eg. paints to get/mix)? I took it to a hobby store, but they couldn't come up with anything that could reliably match that shade of purple.
