That would be awesome, yes. Maybe incorporate a way to include his flight mode.

I know partsformers are not everybody's favorite thing in the world, but I have an idea for an awesome "Magnaboss" upgrade kit where all the individual pieces could combine to form a lion, aka Lio Convoy Jr. Here's what would be involved:

2 x Shoulder Units - these would form the back legs of the lion, and would go on connected directly to Silverbolt's torso as shoulders. They have a hinge in them and a connector that rotates down to connect the rest of the arm proper. Put the arms together like the legs normally go (no bend in the middle) to give it a beefier forearm.

Feet - attach as back feet in "robot lion" mode, also become custom giant beastial feet for combined Magnaboss.

Waist - Serves as lion's midsection. Snaps over Silverbolt's transformed waist, mostly decorative, designed to evoke original Magnaboss design

Front Legs - Form the hilt of Magnaboss's giant sword

Tail - Forms the rest of the sword

Mane and Head - Splits apart. Part of it snaps into Silverbolt's *open* chest, giving him a distinctive Magnaboss-y look. The rest goes on over the Superion head (or possibly in place of it).





I'm not sure if he'd be able to have a working robot mode too or not. I will try and figure it out once I start mapping it out in 3D.

 

OH! I had a custom idea! The Predators (sans Stalker) from the Aerialbots.

Skyquake- Silverbolt
Snare- Firefly
Skydive- Skydive(?)
Talon- Air Raid
Falcon- ???

Combined name: Sky Terror? Not sure.

 

My personal idea (if I actually knew how to make a custom) would be to make a set of limb bots for Grand Scourge based on the original ones.
Deathbed- First Aid redeco based on the firetruck
Air Doom- AB redeco based in the copter
Fatal Pierce- redeco of TakaraTomy Nosecone as he's such a dead on digger
SUB demise- modified Rook mold to look like a submarine.
Likewise doing three of those as Grand Cinvoy limbs would be great as well along with Alpha Bravo already being a good Copter 2.

 

what color are each of them? i can never tell from the wiki picture.....

I'm currently working on a version of Treadbolt, from Scattorshot. After that, I'm gonna try Rollcage from the Universe game..

 

might be a while though, it was accidentally threwn out, the parts of wheeljack were in a small box and my brother thought the box was garbage......he really needs to learn to ask stuff........

Not sure if I mentioned this but I thought of a Badgeless combiner using Onslaught, Air Raid or Skydive, and Streetwise or Rook as the molds. The color palette is dark blue (almost black), red and white highlights, and yellow for windshields. The gestalt is suppose to be the most symmetrical combiner yet and the most beneficial to scramble formations.

I did imagine this combiner as mass produced unit and as Starscream's personal combiner force should any combiners rebel against his rule on Cybertron. They have no personalities but are loyal to Starscream.

 

I meant general Camiens, but I have already done an additional Torchbearer out of Wheeljack. I might do another Legends-size Torchbearer if I find a CW Shockwave locally though..

deathbed = the dark green truck, from offroad/first aid
toxic cloud = the pruple coptor, from blades
undertow = the black hovercraft, from rook and steamshield's topspin kits...

The fire truck is green, the copter is blue, the sub is black, and I think the drill is teal or something.

Anyway I also didn't know there were such extensive shapeways kits for this.
I do still feel TakaraTomy's Nosecone is the best digger as the alt mode's quite close and the drill's ability to peg means the drill arm mode is easy to recreate. I'm interested in seeing the hover craft kit though.

 

Need some advice on what paint is best.

the main two i heard are citadel brush and krylon spray paints, i'm sure more are good, but i can't remember....

something to remember about yellow, the brighter you want it, the darker the previous paint laye must be....its extremely fade-able.

Hmmm, I'm thinking i should make some scratch-build combiner torsos using some silly straws,plastic beads and construct-bots parts for making the skeleton/frame. Maybe i might need more parts. Might start out by making PCC huffer as the transformation base. I always wanted to see what the transformation schemes of PCC figures would work well or not.

Also,by the way... Any ideas for a Akira-themed combiner?
