    I agree completely.

The main idea of this thread is to find some common interest. The seeker one is obviously in demand, but could be difficult to produce in so many pieces. The Clocker exhaust pipes is perfect from the kitbashers perspective. Cheap, solid parts, should be easy to produce without customizers having to seek out the actual toy.

I don't have Apollyon, but if the head size is close to CW Megatron, I think there would be interest in casting that as a replacement head (with guesswork as to how Apollyon's head connects). That could be the initial "kit" idea that you were eluding to.

I only say that as the many comparisons that I have read between the two, CW Megs seems to one-up Apollyon for the head mold. $12-$15 head sure beats $45 to buy CW megs just for a head swap.

Use Creative General Discussion as your "think tank" and Customs as your "showcase place." Certainly a good discussion, so we've moved it here to CGD.

Oh, thanks! I didn't notice this section. I've been away from the site for a while and just getting back into things.

I might be in the minority here, but I'd LOVE some solid plastic doors (and matching roof/windshield) for RiD Prowl/Mach Alert. I think I've bought that figure 3 times because the ball sockets on the doors keep breaking!

The Universe 2 Prowl/Silverstreak/Smokescreen figure also has the issue, just not as bad.

It's great that you're doing RID Scourge/G2 Laser Optimus's sword. My Laser Optimus is missing its sword and I can't find any on eBay.

I know I would like a spare head from Universe Dinobot for a custom. Someone offered to cast some a few years ago but that notion seems to have long since died. I'm sure there would be some interest in that piece from others as well.

I have to agree on the "kit" idea...there has been far too many times that I've wanted for this to be a reality...there are so many first time to novice customizers I believe this would greatly benefit...even long time customizers would have to appreciate not having to hunt down numerous donor figures to get a project done...

In many cases there are feasible custom ideas where a new head, different set of hands or other limb replacement, a change of weaponry and maybe some other minor change could make for a perfectly new character...sometime without painting...

Still fine-tuning the process. My Swindle head came out a little sloppy. My friend thinks he can get a better cast, but I'm going to use this one as well. I'm going to file down some parts to sharpen them up and I may make a new mouth expression.

A copy of MP-12's head/face to put on MP-12G to make it more toy accurate.
