Customs: paint removal

    so i have an oversized knock-off hoist

    i'm using an eraser to remove mose of the unwanted paint. the problem i am having is with the fine sculpted details that the erase can not reach. i'm using a exacto knife to scrap out some of it but i feel like i might end up scratching the plastic.

    does anyone have a chemical option that will not melt plastic?

    Ebay:
    soak in very high percentage rubbing alcohol for about an hour or easy off for about 20 min. Remove both with a toothbrush
