I have an extra figure that is not in perfect condition, and I go to myself why not customize him and repaint him to make him whole again. Since he is an Autobot figure and I want to make him into a Decepticon. I don't know how to go about it and what to do, where to get loose parts and Decepticons insignia stickers, and most importantly, how would he look if I try to transform him, would I be able? Thoughts and advice? Thank you
You keep asking questions along this vein and we keep pointing you to the Radicons section man. This thread should be in the Radicon General Discussion. To actually answer your question though, the Radicons has a dearth of information that can teach you the ropes. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/tutorials-how-tos/201900-table-contents.html For faction symbols head over to reprolabels.com For painting citadel and tamiya paints are pretty good. You'll likely want to sand and seal the figure to avoid paint rubbing off. Floor polish is good for sealing in addition to other uses. If you want to modify the figure, styrene is a good tool to build stuff. Green stuff is a 2 part sculpting putty that you can use to sculpt stuff. My main advice is to check out the tutorials and dive in. It'll not be as awesome as you hope but every journey starts with a single step so just try it.
For all things customizing related, start here. Also, if you want suggestions on what or who to turn your figure into, you may want to say what figure you have and specify its condition (missing/broken parts, wear, etc.). Lastly, if you are looking for parts, or if you would like to put out a request for parts to other members, check out the junk pit. Hope that helps!
Only in the Radicon main section. In the General Creative forum is where this thread should go since it is just discussing a custom. It's also where your last thread was shuffled off too.
