The Tardis Console or Control room has a very distinct shape. The console is always in the center of the room with 6 individual panels on each side. And of course the cylinder in the center of the console. As long as something holds that basic shape there's no question that it's intended to be a Tardis. What I was thinking was using designs from the Ark to create a Transformers themed Tardis Console room.

I also just realized while I was thinking about this that I already have what could very well be a good starting base for a Tardis Control room. The only thing I would need to build is the actual Console. It's not Ark themed but I still think it would make a good base for the background of the room. I have the Titanium Fallen and I really liked the design of the box so I actually cut it up and glued the pieces back together to make a stand for the figure. If I could just put a console together that would look good with that background BOOM I have my own custom Tardis.

I've experimented with cardboard from like cereal boxes and pop cases to make stuff. A pretty easy source of cardboard and with effort can be just fine to use.

I actually found a blue print for a Tardis Console online that you can make out of a sheet of paper. Traced it, colored it, put it together, stuck some stickers on. My camera needs to be charged but I'll post pictures later.

I didn't actually intend for this to be the finished product. This is basically just a prototype so I just put random shapes on each panel. I'd like to make a better one that would match the back ground better but this gives you a general idea of what I'm going for. Also in the close up of the fifth panel you can see where the seem is for the base. The Time Rotor in the center of the console, the red tube thing, I think I covered the seem a bit better probably because there isn't as much of a flap and because I actually colored both sides of the paper. On the base, I only colored one side so that's why you get the white showing at the seem.

I updated the control panel and filmed a video just to show even though the time rotor is made of paper it glows quite well. The new control panel rather than being totally random and being poorly assembled, this time around I put it together much nicer and based the design off of the Fallen's face. I've attached a blue print for the unaltered image. The final version has some added black lines and darker red just so it's not so obviously a face.

The video may still be processing depending on when you click on the link. I literally just uploaded it. If it doesn't work try again later.
