I want to add a leg swivel, thigh or lower knee, for rotation. Would anyone have any recommendations? P.S. If anyone has this mold you probably know about the slight tilt back at the hips where the thigh or hip ratchets start; can you recommend a way to steady it? all suggestions would greatly appreciated
would it best to use parts of another figure or to just cut the thighs from the original Black Convoy to make a thigh rotation? Or would at the lower part at the beginning of the boot(ala Classics Optimus and Megatron) be better?
if you want to just ad a swivel i would choues a point to slice the thig in half and use a screw to build a musroum cap. usualy these parts have a hollow part on the back, make sure your cut goes through roughly the midle, or that it leave enougph room on the short end to attach the srew . choose a screw of apropriate sise and holow out enough space in one of the peaces to attach the threded end of the screw( i use superglue and baking soda) then holow out enough space on the other part to acomodate the screw head. attach it in the same way but first coat the screw in some sort of oil or lubricant( i use wd40) , so that it doesnt stick in the new socket. ps if you use super glue make sure it doesn't flow towards near buy joints they will stick!. i use this method to add biscept swivels to the prime wheel jack mold
