How do you open the chest canopy to get at the Autobot emblem? I remember coming across a thread with the answer but can't find it now.

I've removed the two screws but can't get the front and back of the chest apart even a little. I've pried at it with pliers and a screwdriver to no avail. I think the parts are glued together.

Nevermind. I forced it open by slightly squeezing the bottom of the canopy from the front.

 

I ran into the same problem and did the same thing you did awhile back.

So I jammed a tiny philips screwdriver from the front then pulled away from the two lower tabs holding the entire thing together. Voila.

Yup, Hasbro decided to give it one colour. LOL
