Here's a pic of Prowl with one of sunlink's guns, I painted it with Tamiya chrome silver. I also did the same for Smokescreen & Bluestreak and am very pleased with the results.
buy from this man ... the minerva antennae are very well done! great price! now i dont have to spend $1000 on ebay =) thanx!
Got both pairs of ears to outfit them onto the CHMS Animated molds. Absolutely gives them the character that they desperately need (Arcee clones no more!)
For those waiting word on Octoduck's head I'm still working on it. So unfortunately it won't be available before Botcon starts. things do look promising though And for those interested I have made some Botcon 2012 centric items available in my store.
Wanted to show some of Sunlink's stuff on my Transformers Sunlink is my go-to guy for Transformers Shapeways products, here's some of his products that I've bought (mostly printed in White Strong Flexible Polished and dyed with RITT Dye): Dirge with Sunlink's Shapeways "Seeker Cluster Cannons", dyed black. Thunderwing with his G1 styled guns (painted purple). Kick-Off with the "Kicked-On" gun dyed orange Minerva with g1 ears, version 2 Nightbeat with "Day Job" gun and Animated Minerva ears, printed in black, modified and glued on (still transforms great). Sharkticon with flail from Energon Battle Ravage tail and "Gnash" gun, painted blue. Metalhawk with "Metal Birdie" upgrade kit, dyed royale blue and grey pearl. I also painted his crest red. Skullgrin with chaingun attachment (top of right shoulder), printed in black.
Thanks Sunlink, thank you for sharing your great designs with us fans! I just posted a custom Classics http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/638847-actionmaster-treadshot.html in the Radicon section that was finished off nicely with your Treadshot gun, you were kind enough to confirm that it works with the Generations Warpath figure for me before I bought it from Shapeways. I really appreciate the fact that it can still combine with his old G1 Actionmaster partner Catgut! Looking forward to you next projects!
A Metalhawk of a different kind I loathe the Botcon figure, but this set was too good to miss, so I modded it. Wayne does fantastic work, buy his stuff lol!
Would you be willing to do a smaller version of thunderwing/blackshadow rifles to fit FOC starscream's arms as a sort of prototype null ray? or make a null ray for him that kinda looks unrefined?
Some things have already been floating in my mind about designing something for the FoC Seekers. But I havent come up with anything since the weapons Starscream comes with are more in-line with the game. I figured more people are just interested in that. It's good to know that at least there's interest in changing the default Seeker weapons, which ultimately tells me that I should go and create something. =) thanks
yes, the Neutron Assault gun is from the game, but it just doesn't feel very "starscreamy", so, a prototype null ray that would suit him would be appreciated, by me at least, perhaps you could mimic the TFP nullrays or null cannon from the cyberverse/powerizer figures and their unusual tip design, but I'd be content with smaller thunderwing cannons if nothing else, to make it more like he reworked an existing gun instead of designed the null rays from scratch if you don't have an idea.. the neutron cannons have found a better user, so, aside from TFP voyager Starscream's missiles, I'm not fond of many other guns I've tried for him, and null rays for classics seekers are far too long for his arms, considering where they mount now.
I do have something but just need to find the time to test out a few things and take/upload some pictures of it. Hopefully you'll like them.
