So I thought maybe I could help out a little It's always an honor to be chosen to do a custom job!  (even if the potential customer is still in process of deciding what and/or from whom) I'll be honest with you all. I find my current skillz suited for a display piece, but nowhere near as good as the pro's which can be transformed like 1000x times before paint starts failing/chipping (I have yet to find the ultimate formula, but working on it  )I have lots of experience in website building, design, 3D etc. so eventually there will be a website. But I'll start using my FLICKR account and make several different sections for my 3D-art and TF-related stuff!  EXTRA ADDED FLICKR: Flickr: GForceThreeD's Photostream Most of my custom work is still available, but at the moment most of the builds: Finished & WIP's combiners + Classics flavored WIP's and completed are for my personal collection.  My current schedule is NONE As for the potential job(s)-specifics and examples: I could handle every non-transformable display piece. The harder the specific TF + when it needs to transform on a regular basis, then I need more experience-points.  If it's a display piece you want I could relatively finish the job pretty fast. Although nobody want's a rush job, but want quality work and so do I! I must say that I never actually held a stopwatch or clock when doing a custom. I've though of doing that to better calculate the time (for possible deadlines) and for cost to see if all is fair or simply interesting enough for me.  TIMESPAN! It depends on the complexity of a figure, for example a Gundam with a 4 color pallet: White/yellow/red/blue (and optional Panel-lining) Would cost 1day per color, I wait 6hours between coats and use a minimum of 2 (until now I never used a base coat and never used a finishing coat, but could when asked) If the figure has no electrics it will be cleaned in mild-soapy water and preferably dried for 1day (with electrics it need more prepping and care) If kitbashing or modding a figure is involved, then most of the time we'll need a specific part(s) from a figure(s) I guess. Obviously not every part is easy to find/obtain, but I always love improvising as you may have noticed About the costs, well to be honest most of the work I've done were for personal collection and some fun stuff to learn/gain experience and for time-killing purpose. So it's kinda hard to find the right price, but I have thought of several options: 1.Fixed price for a custom [a]deluxe [b]voyager [c]leader [d]ultra (or same but with a fixed-hour rate) 2.Complexity level [a]easy-paint [b]pin-removal [c]electrics 3.Modifications [a]head-swaps/parts-swaps [b]minor kitbash [c]moderate kitbash [d]heavy kitbash [e]extreme of scratchbiuld This I my first commercial related post, so feedback is welcome.
