My name is Brian....or "punk", if you prefer. I'm new to the commissions/sales game, but not new to the art of kitbashing, repainting, and scratchbuilding. I've been working hands-on in this hobby for roughly 3 years and I was a longtime lurker here and over at the legendary Transtopia before that. I've studied, learned, and shared ideas with some of the greats in the hobby and I think it's time to step up and help some of those that are interested in the work I do. My specialty has been building custom heads from existing heads using styrene and a bit of sculpting here and there. I've also done everything from minor mods to scratchbuilding heads, chests, various parts (spoiler for my Universe Jazz custom, Galvatron cannon parts, and my Universe Scourge extended wing sections, his head, and his legs). I've also taken existing heads and done some work to them to make them look better (Classics Megatron and most recently, the FansProject City Commander face, which you'll see below in WIP form). I tend to work SLOWLY (at least I'm honest!), but as most say, you can't rush art and I like my work to look good and the way that I originally envisioned. I've taken on one commission so far (too good feedback). I stay in contact and work closely to do what is asked, while also putting my artistic spin into it. With my own personal customs, I do the building and painting. I'm more into the building side of things, so I'd prefer to do just that, but I'll be glad to do some repaints if interested. So, if you'd still like to have me paint some items, I'm game. I simply feel that my building/scratchbuilding far outweighs my painting skills (though I do paint pretty well, from what I've heard). I mostly work with Transformers customs, but you can always inquire to see if I'd be interested in doing other things. I'm always up for a challenge, so contact me and we'll discuss what you'd like! As far as payment, I require half up front and the other half upon completion. This helps cover the materials used, as well as time. I ask that bots and parts are supplied, but I'll cover the styrene, paints, work, and time. If you don't have the parts or bots, we can discuss trying to hunt them down and I'd ask that you pay a bit more up front to cover hunting those down and having them shipped to me for work. Contacts Email: hxcpunk23@gmail.com Facebook Fan Page: Kitbashes & Customs by hXcpunk23 I can also be found here at TFW/Radicons and I'm one of the admins over at Sector70. Email with any ideas and we'll discuss it and see if we can agree on something and do it. Feedback eBay: hxc_punk23 TFW2005: hXcpunk23 Below are some examples of my work (everything you see here are customs I've done for myself--some of these works are complete, others are still in a WIP stage). I apologize in advance for the huge number of pictures below. I just wanted to give a nice collection of my work, from early WIP to completed and how some of them came together. I've attached the images to this post and more a few posts down. I will be adding links to my customs threads in Radicons when I have time. Thanks for looking and hit me up if you would like to discuss anything! Last edited by Superquad7; 07-29-2011 at 02:32 AM.. |

I'll check it out sometime and see if there's something I can do for you. Got a bit of personal stuff that hit this week in regards to our recent loss (my fiancee's father passed away in April from colon cancer and we're now dealing with the extra loss of income because of that--to make a long story short, we're trying to help her mom save her home here.....she's disabled and we've been living here for roughly 3 years helping care for them both, so it's some heavy stuff that hit all at once on Monday). I can definitely use the extra cash to help out with things and I'd love to be able to help you or others out with some cool customs work. So if I can't get to something soon for you, maybe I can look things over and do something later down the line once things settle down a bit. If you have something specific in mind that you think I might be able to do for you, even if it's some head work or other styrene work, hit me with a PM or email and we could always just discuss it and see where it goes before we agree on anything. Hope things are good with you, man. I'll take a look soon and see if something interests me. |

In the meantime, good luck with your fiancee's mother, that must be tough and sometimes real life catches up on us. Since that comes first, please do take care of your slice of life and we can always talk about commissions another time. Cheers man, I look forward to working with you in the near future. Best of luck! ![]() Commission work Wants Junkion Feedback |
