My name is Earl Tubbs, and I'm a full time Graphic Artist, with a lengthy freelance background in Mural painting and Print Design. My passion is Transformers Customs, and I have been painting Transformers for 2 years now, both for my collection as well as for sell.
You may be familiar with my Prime Directive line, 14 different mods and repaints of the Cybertron Leader Class Prime figure. All of these Primes, as well as anything else in back catalog, is available for commission.
I love dark and gritty paint work. The reason why I refer to my work as Darkcave Customs is because they all look weathered and decaying. Yet, my customs are all very durable and poseable. My two favorite features of my pieces is the custom decal work I do. I can place almost any graphic (existing or created for you) on a TF. I also print water slide decals for customisers wanting to do their own painting/bashing. Second, I'm a fan of firepower for my TF's. Almost every single one of my pieces comes OVERWHELMING well armed.
My proudest point is that I am the only customiser on TFW (or any other site, as far as I know) that has sold a fan created Character custom piece that has sold for over $1,000 (Predaking Prime, featured below). This means that a customer placed so much value on a self created character that they paid that much for it. It is a huge point of pride for me.
All of my customers have been 100% satisfied with my work. I take my time, and make sure that the customers needs are met, as far as timeliness and communication. Several TFW members own pieces in their collection (including several Mods) and they are all happy with their purchase.
You will see several of my sample piece below, but you can find more by viewing my Customs galley in the Radicons Gallery. Thanks, and I look forward to doing business with you.

AX23 more than exceeded my expectations with this piece. I am proud to be able to display WWI PK, and the other customs I have got from him in the past, in my collection.
I can highly recommend his customizing services. 1 Cross + 3 Nails = Forgiven Quote: |

I can highly recommend his customizing services. | I would have to echo this. I have 3 TFTM/ ROTF customs as well as Galvitron Prime and Roller and they are some of my favorite Transformers ever. They will be some of the crown jewels in my collection no matter how big it gets.
BTW, about time you made this thread |

Join Date: Jun 2009 Posts: 492 Location: Sauga City, Ontario, Canada Collection Count: I don't own TFs....they own me. =( | This guy does such fantastic work, the two above posts totally reinforce what wonderful pieces he creates. On top of that, he's a great guy and cares very much for each and every one of his customs. I'm honoured and blessed to own his Redemption Prime, which is just one of the most mindblowing masterpieces I've ever seen. The love and passion is evident in his work. I fully recommend Darkcave Customs at least once if you're interested in having custom Transformers. Thanks again, Earl!!! |

I've been trying left and right to contact you man, I see you around the boards still, and I don't want to hijack threads to get your attention, but I need to talk with you asap bro! On topic, from what I can tell, he does care very much about his product, but I'm just habing a hard time getting ahold of him. I'm assuming, and hoping, that it's just because he's so busy crankin out more awesome customs. Dude, check your pm's though!! Lmao, great work! Quote:

All three pieces are WONDERFUL, and Bat-Prime (As I lovingly call him) is destined to be one of my collection-centerpieces.
Highly recommended!
