Superman would win. He would win simply because he can't lose. His invulnerability is like the ultimate nerd loophole. People talking about wearing superman down must be thinking of them having this battle in a place where there is no sunlight, because if there's any, like, at all sups can regenerate, or whateverthefuck, basically all the time. However mad the hulk gets, superman can get faster and stronger at a quicker pace. Even someone from DC is quoted saying "Superman is as strong as he needs to be". So really every battle with him is just a gigantic waste of time, and therefore, makes him an inherently pointless hero. It's like pitting Lance Armstrong against a guy with a motorcycle. Doesn't matter how 'roided up Lance gets, that motorcyclist is gonna beat any biker he faces, just naturally.

Nah, Doomsday proves that Supes can be beaten down long enough to lose. A Savage Hulk would be quite the battle for Superman. One that he could possibly lose.

Now Golden Age Superman versus Silver Age Hulk. My money is definitely on the Hulk.

I could see Superman flying fast enough and being strong enough to pick up Hulk and hold him long enough to fly him into the sun's gravitational pull. Then Hulk would get sucked into the sun while Superman flies away...

Injustice Superman (because he'd fight to the death, if killing hulk is even possible) versus a pissed off World War Hulk (which was pretty much the strongest I've seen Hulk in modern times) would be a match I'd like to discuss.

WWH basically fought Sentry to a standstill short of destroyign Earth with their combined powers, before Bruce knocked Robert out when they reverted back to human form.

    Who would win?

Ummm.... I don't know if he's told you yet, but HULK IS STRONGEST THERE IS!!!!!

I think the winner is obvious.

I had this comic when I was younger. It was Spider-man comic and this Spider-Man had cosmic powers. The cover was basically Spider-Man dragon punching Hulk (the grey version) in the stomach and saying "Now, who's the Strongest" or something like that. Anyway, the comic ends basically like the cover, and Hulk get's launched into outer space.

So yeah, if Superman is as strong as Cosmic Spider-Man, then he can do as you said, only I picture Superman punching Hulk to change his projection while in space leading Hulk to the Sun, instead of carrying him.

Gray Hulk is by far his weakest incarnation.

I understand that, but Hulks strength doesn't really play a role on whether he stays in orbit or not if Superman can do a Cosmic Spider-Man Dragon Punch.

With that said, I once read a Golden Age(?) Hulk story were he was in the air, and with sheer Hulk strength, was able to change his trajectory to avoid a bridge. This was the green Hulk.
