Can't say that I do. And I don't like to hang out at Starbucks or drive a Toyota Prius.

First of all, whoever compared the Hulk to Doomsday, let's get real - Doomsday is Kryptonian. Second, I know writers like to get creative and be clever, but the fact is, Superman could and would destroy the Hulk with one punch. He could punch his head off with zero effort. It would be an out and out annihilation. I don't care how mad the hulk gets. His strongest punch would do nothing more than piss Superman off. Argue it any way you want - thems the facts.

Comic Books don't have facts. They only have writer's imperative.

Shouldn't this thread be in the Comic Books section?

Anyway, it doesn't matter how much stronger the Hulk becomes as the fight progresses: Superman would waste him without even breaking a sweat.

Hmm, yeah, there's a comics forum for stuff like this. Plus Hulk (green, intelligent) did battle Superman (long haired), in DC versus Marvel Comics.

    Superman won.

Er, and we had Supes 'beating' Thor a few years back in the JL vs Avengers crossover - when we know Supes is 'weak' is against magic. Thor should have 'owned' Supes.

Point is when it comes to multi-company battles, seems like DC refuses to let their two big hitters (Supes and Bats) lose.

Can't say I blame them because can one imagine if Supes lose a fight to another comic character? Whatever 'appeal' he has will be lost.

Sups has an upper limit. He starts out at his strongest and gets weakened over time. Hulk starts out at an incredibly strong base and just keeps getting stronger. Sups' only chance would be to disable the hulk before the battle went on too long. Hulk never stops getting stronger, and he has no upper limit. Destroying planets, crushing suns, and at one point even pulling the fabric of the universe back together are all feats Hulk as accomplished.

And as I recall Superman "won" that fight only by realizing that Hulk wouldn't stop, so he stopped fighting and took a beating until Hulk got bored. Sups could in theory win though if he were to say throw the Hulk some great distance early on, and make it far enough that Hulk would lose interest in the battle before finding his way back.

Thor is not powered by magic. That's Captain Marvel. And being powered by magic isn't the same as using magic as a power.

If the battle went that long? That's like putting pie in front of a fat kid and saying, if that kid took 3 days to eat the pie, the pie might have a chance. Would never happen. Hulk is dead/disabled in under a minute.

Thor's hammer though is powered by magic. Superman has the speed advantage, but all it takes is one hit by Thor with his hammer and it's over. Even Quesada said that Thor should have won that fight in JLA/Avengers.

Edit: It's if the Donald Brake/Eric Masterson transforms into Thor version, there is a strong case to be made that Thor is a mystical being.

Double edit: I missed it before, but no, Captain Marvel isn't powered by magic. He's powered by cosmic energy.

LOL, no. You're vastly over-rating how powerful Superman is. Maybe Silver Age, but every other incarnation of Superman isn't that strong. Hell, Batman has taken out Superman, so to say that the Hulk doesn't have a chance is just silly.

Disabled in under a minute yes. But then he would get back up and the fight would continue. (in my professional opinion :D )

    This is pushing it, haha.

Anyway, Superman has a bunch of powers. I don't think he's stupid enough to abandon these powers just to show off brute strength. I honestly think it's Superman's speed that will be the downfall of the Hulk. Strength alone won't drop the hulk, but combined with the speed and doing a hit and run tactic, will do it. Hulk will get pissed more and get stronger, but he won't get faster, so Hulks strength will be a non factor.

Im a Hulk fan btw, but I know he'll lose this one.

Also about that Marvel/DC crossover years back? The fans voted for the winner.

Squirl girl could kick both there asses.
but remember Spiderman did find a weakness to the Hulk and the onlu ones to over power him in Marvel were the Sentry Onslaught and Terminus the Skrull guy i think.
admitadly supes can create a infinate mass punch by flying at near light speed.... but then good by world.
but the question is then how are we playing this is it feking God vs Rage monster?
or are we having a power scale?

Pretty sure the only one who ever one shot killed the Hulk is Thanos and he had the complete Infinity Gauntlet at the time.
