In the special features for the Ultimate Avengers DVD they talk about the restarting the Avengers comic and after seeing the movie I’m all hopped up and goofy on this team. Looking around I see Avengers Assemble vol. 1 and 2, Avengers Disassembled and New Avengers vol. 1-3. Having been out of comics for a few years now I don’t know where to start and sure don’t want to jump in super deep and start buying everything so where do you guys think I should start? I would be willing to start with two books so should I go for Avengers Assemble vol. 1 and 2, Disassembled and New Avengers vol. 1, or New Avengers vol. 1 and 2?

The Ultimates is the ultimate universe version of The Avengers.
So far there are 3 TPB called: Ultimates Vol 1 - Super-Human Ultimates Vol 1 - Homeland Security Ultimates 2 Vol 1 - God's And Monsters
If you want any more info on the Ultimate Universe, give me a shout
