I read The Phantom ( Lee Falk) occasionally.
Writers/artists that I enjoy are:
Jean Giraud ~ Blueberry ( under the pseudonym of Moebius). Fine artwork, good story. Derib ~ I especially recommend "Red Road", a modern day western. Yes, there's violence, booze and racism, and the artwork is fab. Frank Robbins ~ Johnny Hazard. He's also been working on Ghostrider and Captain America.
Hergé ~ Tintin.
Chauvin and Lambil ~ Les Tuniques Bleues/The Blue Tunics.
Goscinny ~ Lucky Luke ( with Morris) and Asterix ( with Uderzo).
And before I forget, here's Lambiek.net's comiclopedia
So...what are you reading when not flipping through the "run of the mill" superhero comics. "We can't resort to terrorism, either, because being a suicide bomber is jolly painful, I should imagine."

Then I have scourges of manga on my list that I won't name here because there would be a BIG list.
Otherwise I enjoyed the majority of stuff from Crossgen. I have a Deviant Art gallery as well.

Oh, anouther Swede. Yeah, it is. But I figured these other fellows would know the real translated title better.
But I really wonder whats up whith the French title because Linda/Lorelie DEFINITLY takes up more space than Valentin/Valerian. I have a Deviant Art gallery as well.
