Heh, Han Solo Solo -- I should have picked up on that immediately, but...

I've been waiting for this -- Leia, Lando and Chewie got solo/mini books, and now it's Han's turn.

I'm in the same boat. I'm already reading so many, but a Han Solo book is something I need to read.

Been reading what I could of this series. I've been enjoying it, though it's mostly the graphic novels for me.

Nice to see that there's more stories to look forward to.

I just picked up the first issue of the new Poe Dameron series today. The first issue was good, but not quite great. It's a good solid foundation for the rest of the series though. The art is pretty good. The way that Poe is drawn looks exactly like Oscar Isaac acting as the character. He's written very well too. I liked the way BB-8 was handled, and it also felt like it was right from the movie. It was also cool to see the rest of Black Squadron, and I'm sure we'll see more of them and their rapport in other issues. It was a fun first issue, and I'm excited to see where it goes.

I like the micro comics. My one nitpick is on the price, comics should never cost more than $2.50, IMO. But I don't have any complaints about the actual comics. They're neat little buggers.

Some of these are on sale on Amazon now. I got the first volume of the Vader comic for $5 for the Kindle version.

News is a couple of days old, but I just found out the Darth Vader comic is ending at #25. That's a shame, I really dug it for the time I was reading it. Dropped it after Vader Down just because I had to save money, might pick up the back issues of it I missed and finish it out though.

So I caught up again on more of the Star Wars comics. The last issue of the main series was really good, and it put more focus on the stormtroopers. The thing I love most about the main Star Wars series is that it feels like The Clone Wars animated series but with the characters from the original trilogy. This issue in particular felt like one of the clone episodes.

The Poe Dameron series continues to be strong.

The two Han Solo issues out right now might be some of the best of the canon comics right now. Even George Lucas loves it, and I haven't heard much about his opinion on any non-movie canon material. It's everything you want a Han Solo comic to be, and there is even a Cannonball Run style race with spaceships.

I need to catch up on the Vader series before it ends. I'm at least two issues behind.

I like the latest story arc focusing on the Troopers. I mean, the Empire has to have some good troopers at least right? :lol  The movies really didn't show any competent ones.

My pal has a pile of LootCrate boxes and I found the 001 Variant Edition of "Vader Down" in one of them so I finally got to read the first issue.

    HOLY SHIT.

Quite possibly one of the single greatest Star Wars comics I've ever read.

So can anyone explain C3PO's red arm to me or have we not quite gotten there yet?

Apparently it was covered in this book: Star Wars Special: C-3PO (2016) #1 | Comics | Marvel.com

Sorry, I didn't read it, so I have no idea what the actual explanation was.

I hope Task Force 99 gets what´s coming to them. Also, what kind of enhancements does one of them has that stops him from being ripped apart by a wookie?
