Since Disney bought Marvel, i think it's time they should do Gargoyles, Incredibles, Aladdin, Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Gummi Bears, Gizmo-Duck, Darkwing Duck and other Disney afternoon stuff in comics. Perhaps some Marvel Disney spoof comics would be fine like Spider-Mouse or The Averagers or Scrooge McDuck as Iron-Duck that sort of thing. Or maybe some crossovers like Gargoyles/Spider-Man, Gargoyles/Daredevil, X-Men/Incredibles, Incredibles/Avengers, Rescue Rangers/Rocket Raccoon and that sort of thing.
They already did a Darkwing Duck comic last year, and it RULED. It also had a reference to Rescue Rangers, and a ducktales crossover, if Im not mistaken. Boom actually did a couple Disney comics, to varying degrees of success. Ian Brill Looks Back on "Darkwing Duck" - Comic Book Resources http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boom!_Studios#BOOM_Kids.21_and_KaBOOM.21 Unfortunately the license expired, but maybe that'll be the impetus for them to start things up again with Marvel. Many of the old Disney comics were surprisingly good.
Those comics were done by BOOM! and not Marvel, right? This was the sort of things that (some) Marvel fans were afraid of when Disney bought Marvel. I like the idea of an out-of-continuity Gargoyles/Spider-Man story, but I wouldn't want the Gargoyles to be a permanent fixture in the Marvel U.
Oh that would be a dream come true to see Spider-Man meeting the Gargoyles and seeing Kingpin met up with Xanotos to even seeing Black Cat versus Demona. But an X-Men/Incredibles crossover comic would be nice and could be funny to see Wolverine hanging out with Mr. Incredible to watch the games on TV to see which team they chose will win the game and kickass to see Syndrome with Magneto working together to seeing Mr. Incredible fighting Juggernaut.
