Man I wish they'd drop the stupid "Unity Squad" name and straight up just called them Uncanny Avengers in the book.

Unity Squad sounds like some PC after-school special, not really a name for one of the more powerful Marvel teams at the moment.

Is anyone reading Moon Knight by Jeff Lemire? I'm really enjoying this book. Hoping it puts Marc more back on the "regular" super heroing type stories. I'm so over writers focusing on the "is he/isn't he mentally impaired" type story that's been too much of the focus since the Charlie Houston run a decade ago.

Black Panther has started off strong.
Black Widow hasn't overly impressed me but it's Waid so I'm hanging in there.
Scarlet Witch has been fun if a bit all over the map with it's artists.

Out of curiosity, what do people think of the "Patsy Walker, aka Hellcat" title so-far?

It's Bendis. He doesn't give a shit about continuity or anything, he just does whatever he wants. Really not surprised.

Someone else will be responsible for filling in the gaps, he wanted to use Samson, he found a way to use Samson.

    He got better :lol

Which is amazing since the last time he was seen, he was haunting Red Hulk as a ghost.

Yeah, that's Bendis. Not sure why no one at Marvel ever calls him out on it. He's really better off writing for some continuity free book.

I don't think Marvel cares about Bendis's problems with continuity. The guy openly hates Superhero comics, but because he has a name made from his earlier critically acclaimed work, they keep giving him series to write. Him still being at Marvel is essentially the only reason why Miles Morales is still alive and kicking, that character sells less books than The Fantastic Four did, but while Bendis is there they'll just restart his numbering.
I mean FFS, he hates Venom and claims it's because he's a one note monster, then actively campaigns to get him in GOTG so he can write him. He then gets him, throws out all the character development that he's been given over the prior five years, turns him into a one-note monster just to then lazily magic him into a less interesting and good version of what he was before he joined the GOTG. And that's when he even has him show up in the damn series.

Bendis is pretty much allowed to do whatever the hell he wants. He's one of the main architects of modern Marvel and editorial has pretty much no say over anything he wants to do or how he uses characters.

One of the comments mentioned that it could be
Red Skull screwing with Captain America, since he still has Xavier's powers? Maybe?

My sentiments as well. I have a ton of faith in Nick Spencer though, so who knows maybe he has a better plan in place.

That said, in recent memory, no last page twist has yet beaten Busiek and Bagley's Thunderbolts #1 in my opinion

I believe it is Red Skull screwing with his mind, no way are they going to make Steve evil all along. Unless this is a cynical attempt to further solidify Falcon as the true Cap in the eyes of the public.
But yes, Red Skull is the more logical explanation.

No idea, but this wouldn't be the first time they featured a character on a promo only to not do anything significant within the period (best I can remember is the female White Tiger during House of M)
