Yeah, I was gonna say. Psylocke wan't really his doing, and he turned down her advances when it came down to it actually happening, to Cyke's credit.

Eh? Him leaving is pretty consistent with his character.

But him bitching and whining about Cyke putting kids in danger is hypocritcal. Wolvie has had more teenage sidekicks than damn near anyone.

Just to break away from the Cyclops is a Dick discussion

Anyone seen the variant covers for the X-Sanction covers that kick off X-Men vs Avengers? Some of the more notable ones for readers/collectors who were around during the 90s boom and bust - Stephen Platt and Steve Skroce! While I'm not a big fan of Stephen Platt, (although Wizard was annointing him the next McFarlane during his Moon Knight run, I felt he devolved into a Liefeld clone), I am a huge fan of Skroce, particularly his Amazing Spider-Man run, sad to see he only lasted a short time before moving on to movies like Matrix. It was definitely nice to see him draw Spidey again, although at the receiving end of a Cable punch :p

Yeah, because they were female.  I pretty sure that keeping young girls around is consistent with his character. But, he has always had a soft spot for the kids I think. He is usually more reluctant to fight a kid or have them fight. I thought so anyway.

Who's going to be in it? Well we got the cover already so most likely everyone there. Another cover by Frank Cho released today featured Wanda and Hope, along with Ultron, Quicksilver, Vision in the background.

Well then. I suppose we'll all see our favorites, might we?

Besides, The Avengers obviously have the upper hand. Way more of them than X-Men. Unless there's less Avengers.

The Avengers also have X-Men on their side :lol  I really hope this event doesn't end in a cop out like their other events.

Hm. It sounds kinda boring. I may check an issue out, but I'll just stay away.

I'll just wait for a good Marvel VS DC comic. (Haha) (Yeah, I just want to see a Spider-Woman and Ms. Marvel VS Power Girl. You know me.).

At the rate DC & Marvel are putting out gimmicky events, I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually do another DC vs Marvel, it's been 15 years now since the last one.

The reason they haven't has to do with some negative comments Joe Q made after JLA Avengers about DC characters. There was some comment along the lines of never another as long as he's in charge. They also stopped using his Azrael designs and gave the character a new costume so they wouldn't have to pay him royalties.

True, but In comics, and when there's money to be made, I doubt they'd let a squabble like this stop them from making a huge crossover that could appeal to a lot of readers and non-readers alike. I just think of Rob Liefeld and Jim Lee during the late 90's. After Image started, most of the original 7 gave the impression they'd never work for Marvel again, then Heroes Reborn happened. After that both Larsen and Silvestri came back to do some issues here and there.

I'd like that. Or maybe just New Avengers VS The Justice Leauge. (No Superman. The Avengers would be toast in 10 minutes)

Oh I dunno, they've written the Thor-Superman fights pretty well. Thor's advantage is that he uses magic, which pretty much can hurt Superman as badly as Kryptonite.

Did anyone read X-Sanction? That was a really light read for a comic. Also based on the Captain America/Cable confrontation at the end, it really looks like we're getting Ultimatum Jeph Loeb and not Long Halloween Jeph Loeb.
