Okay, does anybody know what the hell is going on?

Oh, and the last page that features the return of
    Nemesis Prime (aka Nova Prime)
...I wonder if it will have a lasting impact in the regular ongoing series, or just a lead-in to the next issue where it's quickly resolved?

Looking at the art in the preview, I knid of thought "Okay, maybe the artist is growing on me..."

And then the Transformers showed up.

Slightly (only slightly) interested to know who the airship is masquerading as.

Looking at the first 2-3 pages (before any robots show up), the artwork really reminds me of Geoff Darrow (the old "Hard Boiled" miniseries from Dark Horse, written by Frank Miller). Perhaps he should stick to humanoid characters, because robots don't sync well with his style, at all.

Am I the only one thinking .... Who fawking cares about the crab people and why did they blow that many pages on them ? Also ..... Wasn't galvatron and crew abord the first ark before the great war .... How does he know about this place ? And if spinworld or whatever is still an energy source .... Why would the autobots or decepticons abandon it ? I smell a continuity problem , honestly though the artist is not bad at all except when he draws transformers , he's like Todd McFarlandly organic .... Dosnt really work with transformers though

This series makes "All Hail Megatron" look like classic literature.

I wonder what the guy was thinking (or smoking) when he drew Galvs in this particular panel.

The artwork just looks embarrassingly atrocious. Also, crab people on pirate ships floating around in the clouds?

What the fuck am I reading?

Who drew this and how do I apply for his job? My four-year-old could do a better job.

My two week old twins already drew the next issue. They refused to use crayons since it appears the current artist already stole their box of Crayola.

Between this ludicrous storyline and art, and the crap still being served up in the ongoing (I recently got #19 and read it about half way through before getting bored - not like me at all), IDW have really gone downhill rapidly. It all started so well, but the constant change of artists, some of whom cannot draw, and the crappy storylines are making a mockery of them.

That's funny; I thought that everybody liked the ongoing now and that all was forgiven! :)

Very disappointed in IDW and their handling of the property.

I actually liked most of IDW's stuff up until the issue where Spike kills Scrapper. After that, their books just took an enormous nosedive for me.

AHM was pretty much the jump off for me, but I kept trying to have faith and stuck around. Ongoing #1 drove me off... I came back for #8 and I was done.

I pre ordered HoD 'cause I thought it'd be a good, important story and a way to get back into the books... ha! What a joke on me.

I was one of those few nutters who actually liked AHM. I can agree, however, that this series appears to be a joke so far. The artwork is just horrible, perhaps just as bad if not worse than Carlos Magno/Pat lee art.

I'll probably pick up the TPB though, as I'm still interested in what happens with Galvatron.

I haven't hated the story in this series up to this point, but how can there be a Headmaster from before Scorponok made them? Also, why is Hardhead with Galvatron in the second to last page? Did I miss something in Issue 2 of him joining up? I'm surprised at the continuity problems since DnA were so good at it in Infestation. Still, Nova showing up is interesting, let's hope the last issue is good.
