Fun first issue with a good sense of adventure.
There are a couple of cameos, and dynamic and colourful art.
The only thing that irked me was many of the characters look too similar.
I enjoyed it, four out of five stars.

I think it's possibly a hint that Drift was part of their sub-culture before being lost somewhere or at some point.

I spent most if the issue trying to work out who was talking, especially the near the end of the issue when there was Drift and that other robot guy who looked almost like him. Totally interrupted the flow when trying to read it.

I liked it. It's still a first issue so I'm going to say right now it's alright. LSOTW didn't have an amazing first issue. Look how that turned out :)

I enjoyed this issue a lot more than I thought I would. I'm not a big Drift fan, but I found the story thus far to be interesting and well paced, especially for a first issue. I'm looking forward to seeing where this all goes.

I honestly can't really form an opinion on it yet, there's too much unrevealed motives/plots/etc. going on at this point. Could be a well-done "we'll reveal some stuff later" thing going on, could be unnecessary filler. Given it's McCarthy writing I'm tending to lean towards the latter, but we'll see.

I was getting Drift and Wind confused for quite a while, though.

I agree to many almost the same designs. There should be at the very least more color differences.

I liked the Gundamy designs - although I agree Drift and Wind looked a bit too similar (although not the later bots).

I'm going to guess that at some point this ends in tragedy.

    Got it earlier today.

I really liked it ,an excellent issue.
    Only some minor problems
Sometimes there was too much going on in the art, but other wise the art was great.

And they really need to name some of the characters, Who was mister im telling on you Deadlock purple man ? and we probably have not got the names of the 3rd faction medic and big red guy.

Its shaping up very well, i am really glad its bi-weekly as it was very fast paced. Really looking forward to some more backstory of him before he joined turmoil(if we get any)

A lot of Deadlocks troops were G2 Decepticons.

I saw Skyjack, Smokescreen (G2) and Dreadwing among others.

I like this issue and I agree with the statement ^ above, ^ I didn't have a hard time with Drift and Wind but more so with Wind and the Medi-Bot. I was lucky to find a RI cover too :D

I'm just a bit confused how Wing was able to wear that clothing and look 'human', because he has an awful lot of big pointy bits that stick out alot on his robot mode, like his backpack and kneepads..but I guess those parts transform? :)

It's also a bit strange how Drift's helmet already looked like the mysterious guys' helmets even before he was rebuilt..and how they gave him blue optics (since they all seemed to be having orange ones)...but that's comic logic for you..didn't mind it.

Thought it was a good issue. Not spectacular, but decent enough to keep interest for the next issue. :)

Yes.....a black repaint of Universe Onslaught can start things nicely.

I do have to agree about Drift looking a bit too similar to Wing and the others at first. But I think I understand why they did it....kinda like a tribe type of thing. Although while he was Deadlock they could've toned it down just a bit.

It is an interesting first issue...and I really hope they use it as a starting point for something great.

For some reason or another I thought the reveal at the end was going to be Planet Paradron.

I just noticed that DENTON J. TIPTON is editing with Andy Schmidt as consultant, seeing as how Denton's been done with Transformers for a few months now this thing may have been in the works for quite a while.
No! I already own 3 of that mold, though it's not a bad fit :lol

It appears that two of the Autobots that get killed were drawn and initially coloured as Manta Ray and Kick Off, but recoloured, possibly because somebody realised they weren't supposed to be dead yet.

As soon as I saw Road Rocket with the Wreckers in Revelation, I was CONVINCED he was a red shirt. But he made it!
