ZOMG LINKARA'S REVIEWING TRANSFORMERS COMICS BWAHAHAHAHAHA

 

AT4W: Transformers #4 and #5 - More than meets the eye! More bad art, more stupidity...

 

Poor guy's gonna get a billion emails from pissed off Transfans.

 

That intro was funny. The review itself is hilarious and very well done. Why would TF fans get angry over this?

 

Because TF fans get angry at anything & everything that doesn't match "their opinion of how it should be."

 

Very funny and enjoyable review, and glad he covered the bases on his TF knowledge. I'm sure he'll get a ton of Wreckers & Animated reccomendations though, I know I'll post a comment on TGWTG tomorrow.

You sure you're part of this fandom?  

 

There are also plenty of mature TF fans that are fine with other people having negative opinions on something they may like.

 

Not nearly enough sadly.

 

Maybe I'm a bit hopefull but I'd deabte that with the vocal minority argument.

 

I just think it's cool he liked Beast Wars.

I'm fucking surprised he liked Beast Machines. (I mean, I do too, but I'm like one of four people)

 

I actually didn't like Beast Machines when I was a kid, but at least its better than the anime tripe we got later on, especially Energon.

 

I loved the review. Reminded me how horrid DW was and what a dick Pat Lee was.

 

Its sad that you've got a point.

That said, that would be really stupid on the part of the one getting angry though because the review pretty much covered why Pat Lee is near universally loathed by the fandom, so much to the point that I just can't see why TFfans would have anything to get angry about.

 

Agreed on that. I Should send a comment on the forums as well tomorrow afternoon.  

 

You know this review really made me regret that he crossed manga off all potential reviews. I'd love to see Kiss-Play torn apart like this.

I really liked this review. God, those comics sucked (I mean, I know DW isn't exactly loved by all, but damn!).


Though, when Linkara said in the beginning "let's not get into a flame war about which series is better" all I could think is, "Well, it's nice to be optimistic, isn't it"  ).

 

Review was hilarious, as usual. He also did his research about the fandom. Cools. Glad to know he tried to extinguish any flames beforehand...How well that worked I'm not so sure.
Anyway, I liked the Superion bit the most. "Whee!"

Yay for more Silent Hill, I've really taken an interest in the game series, mainly the story as I haven't played any of the games yet and it'll be hard to play some since I'm not a Playstation Guy. It's Metal Gear Solid all over again for me, but with less ports!

 

He goofed when he claimed Dreamwave Transformers never made the Top Ten.

The very miniseries he reviews made the #1 spot four times, with one issue losing out to Dreamwave's Armada #1 and the other one to a publicity stunt by Marvel with a super-cheap issue of Fantastic Four.
