I thought for sure Goldbug was killed. That shot through the chest looked hella fatal.

Also, did anyone notice Scrounge in the second panel of the first page? Ever since watching ROTF, the thought of a wheel-transformer intrigues me.

Was Metroplex hiding a protoform porn collection, and that was why he had to get outta Dodge when he was found?

And the possible mispelling of Jhiaxus got to me... is it supposed to be the same character (who was killed, wasn't he?) or someone using the same name? Either way, it was a weak spotlight. I thought I'd also read this was supposed to be splash pages the whole way.

me too, anyone have any guesses what story arc this will lead into? i just recently got back to this after revelation so i might have missed something

Same here.

My guess is he's guarding the Zodiac (Mentioned/used in Spotlight Mirage).

yeah, i say this was pretty weak as far as a spotlight metroplex...but if it had been spotlight throttlebots it woulda been way cooler...definitely a bit misleading...but it was fun still...

yeah, i recall hearing that too...guess they changed it...which sucks, cuz that woulda been sweet...

For the sake of me continuing to read IDW's Transformer series, I certainly hope Metroplex is guarding the Magnificence. We have at least 2 super-powered artifacts in this continuity (Matrix, Magnificence), neither of which have had sufficient explanation or even a proper story to showcase why they're important.

It would just be sloppy storytelling for the writer to introduce yet another deus ex machina device of some sort.

to be fair I felt it was a good description of the spotlight, the description of Metroplex at the start for me had more gravatas than the ending.

my inital response of getting to the end was "where's the rest of it?"
