The only big Flash reality change was that Jay was Flash before Barry, not Flash on another Earth.
(Also, Barry didn't die on the cosmic treadmill. He died destryong the Anti-Monitor's cannon.) | Er... it's been a couple of decades.
I remember reading The Flash after the reboot and although Wally remembered that he had been Kid Flash and Barry Allen had been The Flash I seem to remember that everyone else thought Wally was always The Flash -after Jay that is. I remember the two of them meeting up.
I'm not saying I'm right -that's just the way I remembered it. Quote:

So, what does he call himself when he is part of the Titans? | Wouldn't he just go back to being kid flash? Unless he is too old now.

Barry died before the worlds were "reformatted" and therefore he never existed.
There were several characters that remembered the realities merged and that Barry Allen and the original Super Girl had lived and died but for the most part no one else did.
It was all very confusing, but I promise it was less confusing than trying to keep track of a continuity that kept changing universes because the writers couldn't remember which "Earth" they were on. Xbox Live :Adam Smasher |

While I normally like everything that Geoff Johns does, what bothers me more is that his Flash: Rebirth series contains a massive plothole. According to this series, Barry Allen's father, Dr. Henry Allen, was imprisoned after being suspected of murdering his wife, Barry's mother when he was 10, and died in jail before he even became the Flash. This makes zero sense considering that Barry Allen's parents were both still alive when he sacrificed his life during the Crisis on Infinite Earths and were later said to have died shortly thereafter...in a story Johns himself wrote no more than five years ago if I remember correctly. Moreover, the supervillain known as the Top once possessed Henry Allen well after Barry Allen became the Flash. BAH. Quote:

There were several characters that remembered the realities merged and that Barry Allen and the original Super Girl had lived and died but for the most part no one else did. | No, Supergirl was the only major character in the Crisis who suffered this indignity (aside from the Earth-Two characters such as Golden Age Superman, Wonder Woman, and Robin as well as the Huntress). Pretty much everyone else was reshuffled into the new continuity.
And Supergirl's sudden nonexistence was a post-Crisis retcon. Initially, everyone on the new Earth remembered who she was. There was even a really lame-ass post-Crisis story featuring her secret alien husband or something. However, an editorial mandate at the time stated that Superman being "The Last Son of Krypton" didn't make sense anymore considering that the Phantom Zone villains and Kandor survivors, among others, were all still around, so they flushed everything down the crapper when John Byrne did his reboot. I'm not saying I'm right -that's just the way I remembered it. | Hmm...it might be because Barry Allen's identity wasn't public knowledge at the time and Wally West adopted his costume. Everyone might've assumed that they were one and the same person. |

Kudos to Morrrison for trying something so revolutionary in comics, but this series really needed 5 more issues. Hell, Final Crisis could have ran an entire year. From the final third of issue 6 through issue 7, I gotta reread that a few more times.
