Nextwave, you damned heathen

Also Invincible and She-Hulk are really, really good (Slott run only on Shulky). Not your typical capes books in the slightest. In fact, pretty much anything Slott writes is gold.

I agree, his run on The Thing was awesome, that was such a fun book to read, but apparently the sales didn't warrent the book to keep being published.

For TPBs I'm mostly getting the non-super hero/mainstream stuff. For some reason I enjoy TPBs of stuff like the ones I posted initially.
Preacher is a great story.

You also might like some of the Hellblazer stuff.

A History of Violence is pretty good once you get used to the artwork, it has nothing to do with Super-heroes.

Invincible
Ex Machina
The Boys(a little more abrasive and adult themed than most other comics)

The Immortal Iron Fist is really good to. I only have Volume 1 so far but i aim to get more.
My buying Feedback

More feeback for buying

I only read TPB. So much better than reading them issue to issue, and it saves space and is easier to organize.

You go out and you buy Powers, Astro City, and both Hellboy and B.P.R.D. right now, young man!

Then, when you're ready for some really good stuff, get the collected Alan Moore run of Swamp Thing, then hop on over to Grant Morrison and he'll fix you up with Animal Man and The Doom Patrol.

Oh, and The Sandman, duh. And Watchmen, Squadron Supreme, Marvels, and Kingdom Come.

Yes, yes I do get a lot of TPBs, why do you ask?

I put in an order for Nextwave this week. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait. Also put in an order for all of the DMZ's and noticed from an online search that Fables is continuing again so I'll be picking that back up for TPB.
