IDW Classic Transformers Vol.1

Hi, does anyone know where can I buy IDW's Classic Transformers Vol.1 (Marvel Comics #1-#16 reissue in TPB) for a decent price? It's out of stock everywhere I go to, or people are astronomically overcharging for the $20 USD book.

It's this one IDW Publishing.

At IDW they told me they don't have any more on stock and although there are currently no plans on making another print, it is possible to happen in future.

Thanks for reading!

Optimus Prime: Great... but how are we gonna explain to capellamusic the hole on his wall?
Megatron: Hmm... a free natural air conditioning system?

I've found these at Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble. If you have one locally, you may hit pay dirt, if you haven't tried them.

I'd suggest amazon.com where my wife originally bought mine, but they sold out and were unable to fill her order. I can't remember which of the above she got my copy from, though. Beyond that, I dunno.

Thank you for your answer. I don't know about those 2 stores, but I doubt they exist in my country (Portugal), I'll look for them online. As for Amazon, I've already tried both the UK and US Amazon sites, but they're out of stock and the ones for sale are from users selling them at ridiculously high prices...

Does it actually have all 16 issues in it? Or is it still missing all the circuit breaker issues..?

Any issue w/ Marvel Comics characters is only summarized w/ a few pictures due to copyrights.

I had no idea the book was that hard to find. I'll keep my eyes open for one online. Have you tried eBay?

Why don't you just get the Titan ones. Get the first couple of volumes. I think those are so much better anyway. You get them unedited with Spider-man, etc.

Transformers, Vol. 1: Beginnings: Amazon.co.uk: Ralph Macchio, Jim Salicrup, Bob Budiansky, et al: Books
Are you ok!? BUSTA WOLF!!

I think volume 1 has some coloring screw ups though in the spiderman issue.. I'd have to go check though..

but yeah you get the first 18 issues in volumes 1-3 of the titan reprints..

Though later on the titan collection is missing the big Broadcast of 2006 .. but thats not important for the US collection anyway .. and only marginally important for the UK line..

Thank you for your help . I didn't know about the Titan ones, so I'll consider those as well, although I'm more keen to buy the IDW one because I found it for sale online at the store Books-a-million that Superquad7 told , in retail price! I've contacted them and they said they have a bunch of them in stock .

Classic Transformers Volume 1 by Justin Eisinger; Andrew Steven Harris (Paperback): booksamillion.com

As for the spiderman story I don't really care much about it, I don't like them adding Marvel heroes to the TFs comics... but the circuit breaker one is cool. I have the old comics scanned in my PC though, which I got on the internet. But I'd like to have the TPB IDW reissue because I prefer to actually have the books, and since it's not for the value I'd rather get a TPB one brand new.

BTW, I tried eBay sometimes but never saw Vol.1 for sale.

I dunno it just seems a bit of a rip off when your going to miss out on 25% of the comics just cause marvel owns one of the characters..

and some of the issues she was in are important.. Heck the final battle with Unicron and the whole last autobot story can't even be reprinted because Marvel owns the Neo Knights!
