If written well, human-Autobot interaction is one of my favourite things about Transformers. I enjoy Autobot fascination with Earth, their second homeworld.
Anybody notice a clearer look at the Fallen's face on the back cover of the RI cover for this issue? http://www.tfwiki.net, the Transformers Wiki - Serious intellectual discussion about transforming space robots.

I know this issue was just set up but it just didnt feel right. All of the humans from the movie seemed out of character. The military guys seemed almost spineless and Simmons was back in jerk mode despite his turn around in the last act of the movie. Also I feel that labeling this as ROTF when it seams to be a sequel to the last limited series will turn off some casual fans Megatron says street dates are for wimps |

Macho Ironhide showing off his firepower, Lennox' sarcasm, Sam being often nervous and angsty and yelling, Ratchet's scientific approach to everything... Best line of the issue: "I want you BOTH. No, not in that kind of way." (Simmons)
Would have helped if the following lines had been placed in a separate word ballon, though.
Art... well, it's still Milne, but he did improve as compared to the Movie Adaptation. Hardly a panel where you had to look twice to understand what was going on (though I still say it wouldn't hurt if Alex used different line thickness), and the humans more or less resembled their screen counterparts. Mikaela was a pretty convincing Megan Fox, Sam looked more or less like Shia, Lennox varied from panel to panel, and the only real letdowns were Epps and Simmons.
Generally a good read.
Looking for a complete Energon Sky Shadow (from Superion Maximus).
Offering: Binaltech Hound, Swindle, Ravage (Corvette), Skids.
Can buy in stores: Robot Heroes Tigatron/Inferno, Ricochet/Predaking.

Dispensor was sentient! Rachet well... I won't spoil it.
I know the issue needed action and it ties up loose ends but maybe they could have run out of juice, or something.
Otherwise it was a great issue. I enjoy the movie-verse comics more than the movie. |
