Interesting read. The twist in the end is good. Not to keen on itīs ending IMO. The Comedian was an ass tho.

Watchmen is one of the best stories I have ever read.

I liked it but I know I'd have liked it more had I known more about superhero culture. I don't read many comics, especially hero books.

The nudity bits and the more "adult-only" bits were a bit much, but overall the book was a good read. I still don't get the ending here and there, though...

Watchmen is one of the better comics I've ever read, a crowning achievement in the genre, and one of the exceptional rarities that rises above the din of its genre to be something genuinely special.

Having just heaped that glowing praise upon it, Watchmen is also one of the most overrated books I've ever seen. As good as it is, it often gets elevated to a stature beyond its means. It is not, as I have read before, one of the highlights of the written word in our culture. I mean honestly, come on.

Also, I sometimes feel like a lot of people like it because they've been told they're supposed to like it.

Awesome book, I'm optimistic the movie will be also as long as there aren't too many of those slow motion shots the trailer's have been featuring so much of.
