This issue comes out next week but I couldn't wait and I read the preview copy in the comic shop. The issue is basically a psychological breaking down of Bucky by Dr. Faustus. Faustus gets into Bucky's head and brings up things like fighting in the WW2, but he paints a negative image of Cap. He also brings back memories of Bucky fighting alongside the Invaders, and Bucky's jealousy that he was the only one without abilities. Again Cap is portrayed negatively in Bucky's head, as Cap takes pleasure in killing the Germans. Meanwhile Falcon and Black Widow are shown alive and well talking to Tony Stark. Despite Faustus' best efforts, Bucky doesn't break. Faustus tries the last trick, bringing back memories of Bucky's "death." He paints a false portrait of Cap sacrificing Bucky because he wasn't as important to the world as Cap was, and eventually Bucky snaps and reverts back to the Winter Soldier mind control. To test the Winter Soldier, Faustus orders Bucky to shoot and kill Sharon, who is also in the room. Bucky takes aim at Sharon, and fires! To be continued.
