52 is selling strong, wow. That is really surprising.

IDW... um, time to start trying to pull some readers back, methinks.

All those variant covers kept people from buying from the very start. I know many many people who have decided to wait for the trades b/c they feel ripped off for buying the DW variants (which seem few in comparison), then the compnay goes under. IDW should have known better to begin with.

a few of the geeks at my local shop arent really into the IDW stuff. because they dont like the new continuity. Im not really digging it myself. they should of continued with the DW story, or atleast continued with something similar.

Instead, they raised the price by a dollar. The sales charts for September and October are going to be interesting to see how the $4 cover prices affect sales.

ugh why are so many people reading origins? I like Steve Dillon's art but it doesnt really fit that series, which also suffers from terrible writing (at least the first issue did, which was the only one i bought).

Really? Dillion's art is what turned me off. He makes everyone look like red neck hicks. If Finch was on it, I'd be interested.
Are you ok!? BUSTA WOLF!!

I don't know about you guys, but when I was working as a writer in the industry, I'd have killed for numbers like those IDW is enjoying. Even Generations is above 10,000.

Yeah, the $4.00 a book sucks, but considering that a Yu-Gi-Oh pack with only 9 cards is also $4.00 a pack, I think sales will not be as bad as many think.
