    Herp Trimpe died today at age 75. He was a legendary comic artist and I guarantee you if you have a decent amount of comics from the 70s-80s you have a piece of his work. I got to meet him a couple years ago and he was a really nice guy and he signed my copy of GI Joe vs. The Transformers #1 (which he did the art for). Definitely expect to see tribute to him in upcoming Marvel comics.

    I was lucky enough to meet this legend a year and a half ago at New York comic con. He was incredibly kind and joked with me about his opportunity to draw my sketch, which I will now treasure forever.

    Noone stays forever, but it's really sad to see someone like Herb Trimpe go.
