God damn, that was brutal. I always loved Bebop and Rocksteady, and seeing them as their old selves but as this proper, barely-stoppable threat has been amazing, if slightly distressing for my inner-child, haha.
Rocksteady's reasoning for choosing to mutate into a rhino may be one of my favourite things ever. "Rhino-saurus" :lol
IDW's TMNT is easily my favourite iteration of the Turtles, and after MTMTE the comic I look forward to reading most every month. It's been amazing so far.

Haha, prices for this issue are crazy, with people truly thinking it's the "Death of Donatello." The issue is easily fetching $30 - $40.

One of my local comic shops said give it a few months after the hype dies down and he ends up being fine and the prices will plummet. Can't really argue with him.

Glad they put that rumor to rest about #50 being the end of the series.

While I was thinking, Donnie should get a carbon fiber bo staff when he gets better.

That was an interesting article. That splash cover is awesome.

These guys are doing a great job with the story and characters. Can't wait to see where this goes.

IMO from the looks of his injury, he needs some cybernetic enhancements, like Teen Titans Cyborg or Marvel's Misty Knight.

I'll put this in a spoiler tag in case people didn't read or catching up the comics:

I think they will find a vial of ooze and use it to heal Donnie.

These are comics, hell even Barbara Gordon got to walk again. They'll find a way when they think it's time for Donnie to go Ninja again.

Yeah, as messed up as Donnie may currently be they've got Harold on their side and possibly (assuming Old Hob doesn't hate them again) access to ooze via Lindsey/straight up stealing it from the Null Group.
Although what he'll be like when he does recover is another story.

To anyone who's interested, comixology has a fantastic sale going on with TMNT comics. The sale only applies to the trades, they're slashed way down.
The only idw continuity tpb that aren't on sale right now are micro series vol 2, and Secret history of the foot clan.
The rest is all on sale. Heck, I just grabbed everything for less than what I payed for the first 5 main line tpbs.

Kinda disappointed that Secret History of The Foot Clan wasn't part of the sale, which the story contributes to the lore.

Yeah, me too. Would have been nice to have that and the other micro series tpb be reduced too, but oh well, better than nothing.

I was able to get a few of the color classics at a cheap price. I haven't read some of these stories in years. It's funny how far ahead of curve the old Mirage stuff was at the time.

I really need to stop using idioms.
