Wildstorm's Sorta Identity Crisis (Captain Atom: Armageddon)

SPOILERS.........................

ok, so it wasn't a million worlds coming into one, but there was a big bang in the end...Atom kills off most of the Autority, Void returns and takes back the piece of her from Atom thus turning Atom back to his DC costume and turning off the bomb within Atom....send Atom back to his home universe....and it ends with Void causing the Big Bang because the super-hereos was trying the shape the world into their image....clips of Deathblow, Fairchild, and Grifter is shown, and Atom back in DC Proper.

Up next is the return of:
Wildcats (W - Grant Morrison, A - Jim Lee)
Wetworks (W - Mike Carey, A - Whilce Portacio)
Gen13 (W - Gail Simone, A - Talent Caldwell)
Authority (W - Grant Morrison, Gene Ha)
Stormwatch (W - Christos Gage, Doug Mahnke)
Deathblow (W - Brian Azzarello, A - Carlos D'Anda)
Midnighter (W - Gath Ennis, A - Chris Sprouse)

i plan on picking up Wildcats, Wetworks, Gen13...maybe Stormwatch and Deathblow.

Wildcats from Morrison and Lee interests me greatly, but I'm afraid it may be too weighed down w/ continuity, I havent read WildCATS since the premiere arc

btw, "Identity" was just a psychological crisis, I believe you meant "Infinite" for a worlds shattering crisis

yes, your right, i meant Infinite.....

as for continuity, the big bang restarted the universe, so supposedly whatever happened in past comics will have nothing with the new titles (rumor), or they might do keep some/make some universe (another possibility)....that's why grifter's back alive, along with Midnighter and company.

is it going to be Stormwatch Stormwatch, or Stormwatch:Team Achilles?

Some decent writers there. Maybe WSU v(X+1) will be less hit-and-miss.

Hasbro don't make 'em like they used to. Thanks to aricosaur!

If it's like the first 30 issues of the original series, I'll pick up Stormwatch. I'll probably pick up Gen13 too if it's Roxy, Grunge, Caitlin, Bobby, and Sarah.

How different is Image-in-their-heyday Stormwatch to what Ellis did with the title? I've only read a few issues.

Morrison seems particularly well-suited to the Authority, and Ennis a fairly natural match for Midnighter. Then again, didn't he write Kev / More Kev? That wasn't my cup of tea...
