*Movie Disscussion* Would it be okay, if....

I was pondering about the Transformers Movie while at work today. Would it be acceptable if the Decepticons and Autobots teamed up to fight a mutual foe, like they did in the first movie with Unicron? Or would you like to see the original good vs. evil, Decepticon vs. Autobot? I could go either way.

The first movie's too soon for factions that should be firmly established as foes to suddenly team up. Sounds better suited for a sequel.

Yeah, the Decepticons sound like real bastiches anyway so I'm not even sure how realistic that is in the long run.

Although I always thought a revamped Quintessons would pose a more interesting threat than Unicron, who'll probably need some kind've deux ex machina to kill him. *yawn* :redface2:

The X-Man template is as good as any to follow. Both are similar in that there are a huge number of characters that you don't want to oversaturate one movie with. It's better to get the basics down first of who's good and who's evil.

I dont think there should be a team up, but a third side, i.e. human armies would be nice to see at one point, or during the climax, as i doubt human agencies would much like titanic robots blowing the crap out of one of their cities

I don't ever recall them actually teaming up in the movie....they were all just trying to stop Unicron any way they could. I don't remember seeing a 'Bot & 'Con standing side by side fighting. Only thing I recall is Galvy saying he and Hot Rod were now allies, but he soon paid the price for that........
They did more teaming up in the show.....

Anyhow, no it wouldn't be good for the 1st movie. As long as they don't kill off Prime this time around, I'm open to anything........

you two have some of the coolest sigs I've ever seen. Where did you get the sig, umbc8? If the Transformers look anything like that in the movie, then WOW, I'll just be drooling the entire time. I never realized how similar Destro and Shockwave are. They were the smart ones who were understated. I think Cybertron totally went away from that personality in their series.
